Villas J&G at Chania Greece

Constructed according to the principles of bioclimatic/green architecture in design and functionality, Villa Ianira is a stylishly refined contemporary holiday rental villa fashioned out of natural construction materials, with a vintage and country feel pervading its furnishings and decorative elements. Local stone in the soothing ochre and grey tones characteristic of the surrounding Cretan land where it was sourced “softens” contrasts. Wood abounds, from the wide-planked oak wood floors to the dining room table and side tables, some sanded and refined, others left in their natural state for a deliberately “unfinished” look, sturdy yet light in both quality and aesthetic.

Villa Ianira

Pale shades of earth tones, warm and relaxing, carefully chosen to soothe the gaze and highlight the select decorative objects and elements. Extra high ceilings reaching a height of 4.5 meters in the living room boast exposed wood beams fashioned from tree trunks and painted in the Cretan vacation villa’s characteristic soft hues to gently cover your dreams. Smoothed walls painted in earth tones of the lightest hues complete an atmosphere of absolute serenity.

The living room’s many large windows and doors to the outside allow light to bathe its interior during the day, while in the evening, carefully planned and chosen ceiling lighting placed among the wood beams offers a variety of ideal lighting options for a cozy evening at home.
